Leafel

A rarity to even the most dedicated enthusiast, Leafels are curious and delightful creatures that populate the forests of Veritam. Hidden amongst the bioluminescent foliage, their abundance of X causes a nightly reaction that enables the mustelids to easily camouflage.

Due to their rare occurrences, their population is unknown and not well studied. In fact, local legends suggest to follow any leafel you manage to spot in the forest. Reports of lost faunids being found after following persistent leafels through the forest have garnered a rather unusual reputation for the species.

During the day when X is at its lowest, leafels are a bland and dull grey-brown and resemble the extinct ferret. While a feisty spirit, there have been reported leafel companions. ouch!
